The 5^th International Workshop on Oxy-Fuel Combustion will focus on the combustion of solid fuels in air and CO₂/O₂ atmosphere. It addresses researchers in industry, universities, and research centers who are concerned with solid fuel combustion and heat transfer processes. The workshop topics are:

• Reaction of solid fuel particles in air and oxy-fuel atmosphere
• Turbulent combustion in air and oxy-fuel atmosphere
• Heat and mass transfer processes during solid fuel combustion
• CFD modeling and validation for burner and boiler development

Abstracts must be written using the provided template (https://www.oxyflame.de/5th-workshop) and submitted via ConfTool (https://www.oxyflame.de/conftool/) no later than December 1^st, 2024.

Please note the following conditions for the workshop:

1. Authors of submitted abstracts will be informed about the acceptance of the abstract until December 20^th, 2024.
2. Conference registration will open on December 21^st, while places are available, registration is open until February 14^th, 2025
3. Participation is limited to 120 persons. Priority will be given to presenting authors.
4. The workshop is free of charge.
