The Combustion Institute

The 2026 Spring Technical Meeting of the Eastern States Section of The Combustion Institute will be held 15 - 18 March in Raleigh, NC. The meeting will be hosted by North Carolina State University.
 
The event will consist of an opening reception, plenary seminars, technical talks, and a banquet event. Attendance at the 2026 Spring Technical Meeting of the Eastern States Section of The Combustion Institute shall be governed by the Code of Conduct found on the ESSCI event website.

Extended abstracts should be up to five pages in length and highlight the results of the study to be presented at the meeting, including a brief review of relevant background and methods, key figures,and results; preliminary results are welcome and encouraged. Acceptance of the abstracts for presentation will be based on soundness and completeness of the study, as presented in the extended abstract, with the expectation that the abstract is a representation of the material to be presented at the conference. To determine acceptance for presentation,only one review of the submitted abstracts by the conference organizers will be performed; there will be no chance for revision and resubmission after submission.
